First Day at Puppy School

We went to our first puppy class at the Guide Dogs training centre in Atherton today, I was fascinated and it was great to see the big dogs at school.  Gypsy wasn't so sure at first but soon got into it.  There were 20 puppies there, all up to 5 months old!

She was such a good girl she soon became teacher's pet, the teacher used her to demonstrate to the others.  She was a clever monkey and quietly wrinked her nose to get the pups near her barking whilst sitting like a little angel herself!

We learned standing on the left, sit and wait, down and wait and 'follow my hand'.

It was interesting queueing up for the spending area outside, some were not quite able to wait so long :)

We met Topsy, a gorgeous German Shepherd GD pup, also 15 weeks old (his brother is Tim!) and a beautiful old retired Guide Dog who was visiting with his owner and her new Guide Dog.
